What was the Business of Airbas

Working out of its base in Sharjah, UAE, Airbas Transportation, Inc. was one of the contractor to the US Army, the Red Cross, and score of other relieve organization which worked in Iraq, Afghanistan, and east Africa.  Upon the invasion of Iraq by the United States armed forces, Airbas was conducting up to five-flights a day for the Us governments on certain occasions. Other customers were Federal Express, the Red Cross, and other US contractors working mainly in Iraq and Afghanistan. The intensity of the use of Airbas aircraft for military cargo caused the United States department of defense to sign a military refueling agreement and issue DOD fuel credit cards to Airbas aircraft.

Airbas flown foodstuff, perishables, spare parts, and other military cargo in addition to flying personnel working for the US government contractors in Iraq.

In response to the false government allegations against Airbas Transportation, the management of Airbas issued a detailed listing accounting for every flight conducted by Airbas and which can be seen here.
