AIRBAS in the newsAirbas Transportation, Inc., was introduced to the media in 2003 by Johan Peleman, the corrupt UN contractor when he inserted Airbas into the UN report S/2003/1053 on Somalia alleging that Airbas was a front company for Victor Bout, Sergey's brother, just for the purpose of smearing the company's name and destroying its reputation in an unparalleled display of prejudice by placing the text about Airbas into a frame in order to single out the material and attract attention. The report was later duplicated by other media outlets on the internet, where all started calling Airbas as it was owned by Victor Bout, and alleging that Airbas was engaged in arms trafficking. Mother Jones was one of those cheap internet outlets which article was later used by the US government as evidence against Richard Chichakli. |
